Sunflower Bookmarks on Handmade Paper
Multi colored papers for these two. They were made with Abaca and cotton pulp. Lavender flowers were included in the slurry when I pulled this paper. I mixed some white, pink, and yellow pulp in different vats dipping and dripping the mould and deckles to pull the colors together. Once they were dried I folded I embossed them with sunflowers. The tassels are 100% cotton. To give them strength each one is a 5×7 folded in half glued with water-based glue.
